Momo with Chicken...

This is a traditional dish of Nepal, but it is also prepared in neighboring countries. fillings are different. I offer you one of the options - ginger + chicken. Just a cosmic combination!

Ingredients for Chicken Momo:

  • Dough:
  • Wheat flour / Flour - 2 stacks.
  • Water - 3/4 stack.
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • Filling
  • Chicken Breast - 1 pc.
  • Ginger (1 cm root)
  • Onion (small onion) - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 1 tooth.
  • Soy sauce - to taste
  • Cumin - to taste
  • Salt (if needed) - to taste

Recipe "Momo with Chicken":

  1. Mix flour with salt, add cold water and knead the dough. Wrap it with foil and remove it for half an hour in a warm place.
  2. For the filling, chop the chicken breast finely or grind it into minced meat. Add grated ginger root, grated onion, chopped garlic, soy sauce, spices.
  3. Divide the dough into pieces and roll each part into the thinnest flat cakes. Put a filling on each cake and form a momo. They can be formed in different ways, but most often they are bags (similar to khinkali). Traditionally, momo is steamed. Cooking time - 10-15 minutes.
  4. Momo sauce is better to choose on a tomato basis, spicy.
